VOLUNTEER OR GENERAL DONATIONS:

Are you passionate about the arts?  If so, we invite you to join us.  There are many ways in which to get involved.  We appreciate gifts of time, treasure and talent.  Without your help, we could not provide the many programs and services to our members and our community.

The Art League of Hilton Head is a 501(c) 3, not-for-profit organization.

If you find you can help, you have two options for your donations.  You can designate your gift to our Scholarship Fund or to our General Fund

Donations can be accepted online, using your credit card, or printing our donation form and mailing it to us with your check or credit card information.

The Scholarship Program

The Art League of Hilton Head Education/Scholarship Program encourages students to develop their art skills and pursue their dreams of a career in the visual arts.
A $2000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student of a Hilton Head Island High School who has been accepted into an art school or a college to pursue a visual arts career.

Students are asked to submit transcripts, letters of recommendation from teachers and pass an interview with an Art League panel who reviews the student's portfolio and statement of objectives.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ART LEAGUE:

  • Committee Members
  • General Office Support for Organizing, Filing, etc.
  • Power-wash building and check roof for debris at Art Academy.
  • Fix ceiling leak damage in kitchen of Art Academy.
  •  Donation of 10-12 foot ladder to replace light bulbs in art academy ceiling.   Donation of light bulbs.
  • Perform some landscaping once a month at the Art Academy.
  • Donation of pest control for Art Academy.
  • Donation of termite control at Art Academy.
  • Cleaning and painting of exterior of arts center and donation of paint.
  • Repair of fence at Art Academy.
  • Donation of new chairs for the Gallery.
  • Donation of portable chairs for Art Academy.
  • Donation of ongoing supplies for both Art Academy and gallery, such as office
    supplies, ink, paint, paper, plastic for tables, etc.
  • Donation of clay tools for Art Academy.            
  • Gift card donations to restaurants to take teachers, students, volunteers to lunch or for thank you gifts to them.
  • Heating, cooling units need to be replaced at the arts center and flooring needs to be replaced in one room.
  • In-kind donations of wine baskets by individuals needed for Art and Flower luncheon.
  • Perform routine cleaning of inside of Art Academy.  Wash windows.  Wash sinks,
    bathroom, floors, etc.
  • lean gallery wood floor on occasion.
  • Donation of nice wood desk for gallery and matching wood filing cabinets needed.
  • Someone who has a truck or van to help deliver art, decorations, etc. for our events as needed.
